Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using RukkitAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are

RukkitAI is an open AI community platform available at rukkitai.org. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

3. Accounts

You may create a free account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
  • Use the AI features to generate content that violates applicable law or the rights of third parties
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
  • Use AI-generated content to deceive others about its origin in harmful ways

5. AI Features

The Service provides access to third-party AI models via OpenRouter. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, biased, or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content. Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Free accounts are limited to 10 AI requests per day. Pro accounts receive unlimited access to the available open-source models.

6. Pro Membership

Pro membership is available on a monthly ($9/month) or annual ($79/year) subscription basis, processed via Polar.sh. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled per Polar.sh's refund policy. We reserve the right to change Pro pricing with 30 days' notice.

Pro status is tied to your account email. It is not transferable.

7. API Access

Pro members may generate API keys to access the RukkitAI API. API access is subject to a rate limit of 20 requests per minute. We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or violation of these Terms. API keys are personal and must not be shared publicly.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, prompts, comments). By submitting content, you grant RukkitAI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content as part of the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you post, and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community.

9. Intellectual Property

The RukkitAI name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. AI models accessed via the Service are owned by their respective providers. Open-source projects listed on the platform are subject to their own licenses.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or appropriate for any purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RukkitAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
